AWARDS - The Awards Committee will solicit nominees from Region members for each of Leadership Florida’s Award categories. Committee members will promote the Awards and strive to secure at least one nomination for each category in their Region.

YES! I am interested in serving on the Region Awards Committee

COMMUNICATIONS - The Communications Committee is charged with keeping fellow Region members apprised of both region and statewide activities. Members provide support in promoting activities and events of Leadership Florida including photographing and using social media.

EDUCATION - The Education Committee encourages Education Class members in their Region to attend Region and statewide events and to assist with recruiting applicants for next year’s Education Class program. This committee will also plan and host an education-related event in their region.

EVENTS & EXPERIENCES - The Events & Experiences Committee organizes four or five Region events per year. This includes a welcome event for new class members from the Region, welcome receptions when the Connect, Education, or Cornerstone Class meets in their Region, recruitment activities, and "but for" Leadership Florida experiences.

FUNDRAISING - The Fundraising Committee is responsible for making sure all Region activities and events are sponsored or funded locally.

RECRUITMENT - The Recruitment Committee is responsible for ensuring that Leadership Florida has the best possible candidates from across Florida applying for upcoming classes. Committee members assist with planning recruitment events and developing strategies to seek members that ideally fit the goals, mission, and vision of Leadership Florida.

AUDIT - The primary function of the Audit Committee is to assist the Board of Directors in fulfilling its financial oversight responsibilities. This committee provides independent financial oversight by reviewing financial reports and other financial documents, auditing, accounting and financial reporting processes and internal controls.

FINANCE - The Finance Committee plays a crucial role in maintaining Leadership Florida's financial health and integrity. Its duties include oversight of financial planning and management, monitoring financial performance, ensuring accurate financial reporting, investment oversight, and support for fundraising and development activities.

GOVERNANCE - The Governance Committee annually reviews the Bylaws and considers whether changes should be recommended to the membership. This committee works in conjunction with the Board of Directors.
